THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED As part of the North American sales team and as an individual, you will report to the Managing Director of North America and be responsible for building and cultivating myThings' advertiser base, with a special focus on agency and trading desk partnerships. We are looking for an outgoing, aggressive, analytical sales leader who builds strong relationships and loyalty with customers and co - workers.
This position will be responsible for prospecting new clients, effectively communicating myThings' proposition and negotiating contracts that will lead to renewable business. You will assist the account services team to monitor and optimize existing campaigns grow revenue, along with cultivating a strong and productive relationship with the client

Develop the strategic commercial plan for growing new business in the US online advertising market. He/She will have to be able to bring along a portfolio of direct & indirect contacts
Develop and new partner relationship through prospecting (direct prospection is a strong aspect of the role), cold calling, presenting, negotiating, and contract execution.
Manage tour portfolio of customer relationship, grow revenues and margin.
Work with broad range of internal (marketing, account services, product and as ops) to support the sales efforts
Work incredibly smart to meet or exceed goals
Study the market to identify potential business opportunities and business partners
Represent myThings at the relevant conference and events
Ability to prospect, pitch and close direct sales
Prior experience selling online advertising digital marketing technology agencies/agency trading desks at a senior level, with proven ability to influence and negotiate with clients and senior level
Strong relationships an Rolodex with marketing decision makers in the media display, ad exchange ecosystem within the US.
Minimum 5 years' experience with proven track record of succeed in online media sales - growing business
Background could include working for affiliate network, ecommerce websites, digital agency or media company
Experience in responding to RFPs and have excellent proposal writing skills
Deep familiarity of online media and performance based display advertising (especially attribution methodologies)
Deep understanding of technical features of the new display ecosystem (RTB, Ad -exchange, data management, cookie based campaigns, mobile, retargeting & audience targeting)
Highly analytical, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple clients, tasks and responsibilities.
