Sales Director - West Co-eXprise

Looking to be a major contributor to a small company undertaking a journey to revolutionize the way manufacturers collaborate with their suppliers? Co-eXprise is seeking a dynamic sales professional with extensive experience in supply chain or PLM solutions. This position is responsible for strategic sales pursuits to the Fortune 1000 manufacturing industry, including aerospace and defense (A&D), automotive, consumer products, and high technology companies. As such, this quota-carrying position will have responsibility over pursuits in all industry verticals in their designated geographic territory. Success in this position will require the Sales Director to be highly capable in three key areas:
Ability to directly establish and maintain executive-level relationships
Proficient at communicating supply chain business challenges, especially those related to sourcing and supplier collaboration
Work collaboratively with the Co-eXprise Marketing organization to build pipeline.
This position will report directly to the VP of Sales.
The Sales Director will be responsible for the Western territory, a large multi-state region that covers Washington state through Texas.
The Sales Director will also have the following responsibilities:
Identify and develop new target accounts and a territory plan.
Drive opportunities through a strategic sales process.
Develop and deliver sales presentation materials.
Coordination with appropriate Co-eXprise team members.
Develop and maintain sales activity records in CRM system.
Deliver timely execution on sales pipeline ratio and quota attainment.
All other duties as assigned.
The Sales Director will have high analytical and conceptual abilities that enable him/her to recognize and define customer issues. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of navigating multiple levels and functional areas of the prospect organization to build commitment that leads to sales. Targeted qualifications include:
Seven years of selling software solutions to Fortune 1000 manufacturing companies.
Three years of selling supply chain, procurement, strategic sourcing, or PLM solutions.
Experience selling Software-as-a-Service solutions.
Bachelors Degree - Business, Engineering preferred.
Ability to travel up to 40% of time.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills (oral and written).
History of consistently exceeding individual sales targets and quotas.
