Sales Director, Western Region Transera Communications

The Sales Director for the Western Region is responsible for sales of Transera?s Adaptive Customer Engagement (ACE) and customer interaction management solutions. ACE turns high-volume sales and service contact centers into strategic business assets. Transera?s unique solution leverages Big Data technologies to extract business insights, generate customer engagement recommendations, and visually display business trends and threshold alerts. It is the only software on the market that considers both customer value and business effectiveness in call routing decisions.
This is an individual contributor role within the company and an opportunity for a self-starter to build a business within a small, profitable company with a solid customer base. This person will specialize in the pursuit of mid-market and enterprise clients.
Focus of this position is the Western US territory.
Responsibilities
Create territory strategy as it relates to target accounts, territory build-out and new name business opportunities
Identify and develop a qualified group of prospects for Transera?s Adaptive Customer Engagement and customer interaction management solutions
Innovate ways to balance sales opportunities and existing client management
Meet and exceed annual bookings targets for business sold directly and through channels
Maintain appropriate qualified pipeline to yield desired results
Accurately forecast sales and track activity in SFDC
Requirements:
3+ years of sales experience in technology, software, or SaaS
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding bookings quota
Strong sales process discipline
Business Intelligence, predictive analytics and contact center knowledge, a priority
Ability to work independently in an expanding and changing environment
Understand the new dynamics of the customer ?buying cycle?
Exposure to smaller, more nimble organizations with less defined policies and procedures
Business-to-business and/or SaaS/cloud sales experience
Have developed relationships at the proper decision making levels and sold to enterprise and mid-market accounts (100K to $1M plus per year in recurring revenue)
Bachelor?s degree in business or a related field
The company is based in Sunnyvale, CA. Northern or Southern CA and Salt Lake City are preferred locations for this position.
