THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED DescriptionResponsible for the scheduling, development, delivery & tracking of newly hired Account Executives (within six months of employment date or transfer into the Account Executive position). Responsible for providing training materials for experienced AEs for their ongoing training needs. Will also provide training to existing Account Executives (AE?s). Work in conjunction with the Sales Manager who has overall management responsibility of the AE. This position does not include delivery of advanced technical training although may assist with the tracking of this training in regards to certification.
Bachelors degree in Business or Finance or a related field, or the equivalent in training and experience. 1-2 years training experience. Substantial experience (4+ years) in professional sales and marketing, specifically selling technical services, indicating an ability to prospect new accounts. Demonstrated experience providing direction or managing employees, specifically within the sales function. Knowledge of the telecommunications industry through direct or indirect work experience. Demonstrated knowledge of local exchange, long distance and internet markets. Ability to support a team of sales professionals who are making sales presentations to small and large sized groups. Strong analytical, time management, problem solving, prioritization and planning skills. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Computer skills, including spreadsheets, presentation and word processing programs.
Intermediate technical telecom knowledge required. Consultative selling skills required. Experience as a consultative sales trainer.
Sales Training experience within a technical field. Experience using Microsoft Office software programs.
