As a Sales Enablement Lead you will be responsible for maximizing sales department effectiveness by determining and addressing sales department needs. You will ensure the field sales teams has the information, tools, and support needed to drive sales in their territories. You will shape the field sales strategy, influence sales execution and pipeline, and own a training schedule to ensure sales reps are skilled and ready to position the Xactly portfolio of products to their customers.
Key responsibilities and activities in this role include:
? Execute on initiatives to improve the ability of sales reps to perform the sales processes
? Assist in building content for a comprehensive sales playbook and execution model
connecting sales, pre-sales, and marketing
? Own development and delivery of sales training materials
? Own ongoing sales training and reinforcement via the coordination of 3rd party training
? Act as the point person to work with the Product, Marketing, Sales Consultants, and
Sales Ops teams to develop and execute training sessions on new products, product
updates, messaging, competitive analysis, playbook updates, new tools, etc.
? Manage the process of ongoing communication with sales by creating and maintaining key
sales communications vehicles (i.e. SFDC, websites, tools, etc.) including website and
Box content creation and maintenance
? Own the Sales OnBoarding Plan (includes the training outline, execution of new hire
bootcamp and ongoing training)
? Own the building of sales strategy decks and common account planning templates; assist
in the process of working with Sales leaders to drive joint account planning/awareness
? Be the point person for the gathering and internal distribution/training of competitive
? Ensure programs and directives reach entire global sales force
? Determine learning and training requirements by studying sales and marketing strategic
plans and current sales and results to evaluate training effectiveness
Excellent written and verbal skills. Knowledge/exposure to sales enablement or sales training planning and execution strategies. Must be skilled in creating and building MS PowerPoint presentations as well as other planning/tracking tools. You will be responsible for designing and executing sales enablement training strategies by solution. You must be able to build confidence and respect with Regional Sales Management as well as field level sales teams. You must be able to adapt Global policies and directives to meet Regional needs and concerns. The successful candidate will be able to use their sales knowledge to build programs to enhance the skills and success of sales teams across the globe.
?Bachelors Degree in Communications
?At least 2-4 years of Field Enablement/Sales Training experience
?Good oral and written communication skills including advanced MS PowerPoint, Box and CRM (SFDC) skills
?Prior experience managing a Salesforce.com environment would be helpful
?Some business analysis experience preferred
?Prior experience developing and managing a Sales Playbook and associated training materials
?Understands and applies program/project management methods and processes to define, plan, and measure successful sales enablement programs
?Must be flexible and adapt quickly to changing or conflicting responsibilities and priorities
?Must have a commitment to quality and be results driven and customer focused
?Knowledgeable of Solution Selling basics
?Team player who can work independently with limited supervision
