About Being a Sales Enablement Manager at Apigee
We are looking for an energetic, creative, experienced sales enablement manager. The ideal candidate will be an expert at developing tools and training focused on increasing sales productivity and the successful on boarding of sales (direct and channel). The sales enablement manager will be responsible for on boarding, sales tools, training and the development of a continuing education program for sales.
The Sales Enablement Manager will...
Oversee sales on-boarding; including training framework, execution of new hire boot camp and on going training
Own, manage and execute the apigee new hires sales training boot camps
Develop a framework for long term enablement programs and continuing education programs to support organizational growth
Partner with subject matter experts, senior leadership and product marketing to develop, update and deliver ongoing sales enablement programs, new product introduction, product updates, messaging, playbooks and sales tools
Create sales tools aligned to the sales process and customer buying cycle with the goal of increasing sales effectiveness at each stage of the cycle
Maintain ongoing communications of sales programs and initiatives to global sales force via vehicles including chatter, sales portals, SFDC
Assist in building content for comprehensive sales playbook and execution model (direct and channel)
Track metrics and reports for comprehensive programs analysis
Think you might be our Sales Enablement Manager? You bring to the table?
7-10 years of Field Enablement/Sales Training experience, including planning and execution
The ability to build confidence and respect with Regional Sales Management as well as field level sales teams
Good oral and written communication skills including advanced MS PowerPoint, CRM (SFDC), and LMS skills
Prior experience managing a Salesforce.com environment would be helpful
Prior experience developing and managing a Sales Playbook and associated training materials
Experience employing program/project management methods and processes to define, plan, and measure successful sales enablement programs
Flexibility and the ability to adapt quickly to changing or conflicting responsibilities and priorities
Commitment to quality, results-driven and customer-focused approach
Knowledge of Solution Selling basics
The spirit of a team player who can work independently with limited supervision
Ability to travel 25% of the time, possibly internationally
