Sales Engineer Zilliant

Zilliant is currently searching for a Sales Engineer to join the Sales Organization. This individual will be responsible for providing technical expertise and sales support during Zilliant software sales cycles.

Primary responsibilities involve loading data sets to relational databases for building multi-dimensional cubes, configuring and extending demo to showcase product capabilities and proof-of-concept assistance.

Additional responsibilities will include:

- Supporting proof-of-concept work and prototype development
- Providing rapid prototyping support for solution demonstrations of Zilliant software to prospective customers
- Creating databases, structuring and manipulating data (ETL)
- Data cleansing and analysis
- Building OLAP cubes
- Developing reporting scorecards and various analytic views
- Configuring and building extensions to J2EE application leveraging knowledge of Swing, Spring framework
- Web application installation and configuration

Skills Required:

- At least four years of industry experience in development / consulting / technical presales
- Experience with MS SQL 2005/2008, SQL programming
- OLAP experience (MS Analysis Services 2005/2008) desirable
- Experience creating MicroStrategy content
- Experience with Java/J2EE based web application development, Swing, ANT
- Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities
- Strong written and communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and work within a very dynamic environment where a high degree of flexibility is required
