As a Sales Engineer, you will work with the sales team in a pre-sales role to develop and position solutions
involving our company?s products. Working closely with assigned sales personnel, the Sales Engineer is
responsible for all of the technical aspects of the sale during the entire sales cycle. The Sales Engineer will also be
involved directly with clients, post purchase, for support of product installation and ongoing support calls.

Here are some of the important job duties: ? Developing and maintaining strong relationships with partners.
? Communicating with QA to transfer solutions into a regression testing environment.
? Conducting in-depth product demonstrations and presentations.
? Supporting the sales team; responding to RFP?s, creating configurations / quotes for customers.
? Attending and/or participating in trade shows, exhibitions and seminars.
? Configuring and implementing solutions, internally and at partner sites and internally
? Writing spec?s and communicating with Engineering and Product Management groups.

Must Haves? for the job:
? Bachelor?s degree in Computer Sciences or Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.
? Ability to travel within territory 60% of the time
? Minimum 5-10 years of experience in sales engineering for an IT company, preferably in the Storage industry
? Working knowledge of storage technologies- configuration and troubleshooting, server operator systems and
? VMware experience and knowledge required
? VMWare VCP Certification (vSphere 5 preferred)
? MCSE and/or Cisco certification
