Job Details:
Responsibilities:
Support targeted sales opportunities and perform product demonstrations
Provide pre and post-sales technical support for new and existing customers in a sales scenario
Train select channel partners on how to use and sell VBrick products
Respond to RFx?s, bids, and proposals
Create Statements of Work (SOW) that detail business requirements and deliverables
Communicate customer and field engineering knowledge and feedback to internal resources
Communicate and facilitate joint development with partners in a technical capacity
Provide regional tradeshow support
Whiteboarding and technical sessions with customers and partners
Bill of Materails (BOM) generation and management during the sales lifecycle
Work closely with regional sales reps and inside sales reps
Position Requirements:
B.S. degree in an engineering discipline paired with a minimum of 5 years business experience
Requires 3 years experience in a technical support role and a strong knowledge of
enterprise network infrastructure
network traffic analysis
network security
audio/video streaming
audio/video systems engineering
converged network troubleshooting
Experience with
VC-1, Flash, HLS, DASH, and H.264 standards & interface standards
Windows Media Services, Windows Server Platform, Application Servers, Hardened Appliances, Storage Repositories, etc.
Microsoft Lync, Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft IIS, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Visio
Windows XP/Vista/7/8, HTLM4/5, LDAP, IP, IGMP, DHCP, ARP, NAT, UDP, Multi-cast, and Ethernet are necessary
Must possess strong presentation and people skills and previous experience dealing with Enterprise customers
Strong work ethic and a get the job done attitude are necessary in our fast-paced hi-tech environment.
Travel of 50%-60% plus within the territory is required with potential for out of territory or international travel as necessary
