The Support Sales Engineer will have the opportunity to drive the development of BigMachines software demonstrations leveraging the latest web 2.0 technologies. This rapidly growing organization is in need of a highly motivated individual who looks forward to the challenge of helping in creating, building, and growing our business.
The Support Sales Engineer position will report directly to the Support Sales Engineer Manager and will have the opportunity to work closely with multiple teams throughout the organization to drive the company?s long-term success and to drive immediate sales. They will have the opportunity to grow into more senior roles within the company, which is committed to promoting talent from within.
Please Note: Aptitude testing is required for all positions
Working closely with our sales team and marketing leadership team to identify and then implement new features and demo enhancement requirements (This includes implementing demos for new vertical industries as well as enhancing our existing demo lineup.)
Supporting the sales and sales engineering teams in implementing ?custom demos? and proofs-of-concepts for prospective customers that will showcase the capabilities and functionality of the BigMachines application with prospective customer products
Being well-versed in the functionality and capabilities of the BigMachines leading-edge web software technology as it is today and will be in the future and driving demo enhancements along these directions
Maintaining a regular demo release schedule with enhancement documentation
Being a project manager, facilitator, and implementer for BigMachines demo and custom demo applications
Adhering to all BigMachines security policies, standards and procedures in the performance of job duties
Participating in security training provided by BigMachines
Reporting any potential security weakness, exposure or suspicious indications to manager
Strong technical ability
Outstanding oral and written communication skills
High level of energy, persistence, and strong desire to do whatever it takes to win
Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, analytical, and programming skills
Quick learner and able to learn new programming languages and/or concepts on own as necessary
Knowledge of user interface design and web design constraints is helpful
BS degree from a reputable 4-year college/university
