Sales Engineer GFI Software
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Contributes to sales team effort by delivering technical presentations and demonstrations
Identifies sales requirements by establishing personal rapport with persons in the position to understand service requirements.
Analyze the client?s problems and create a vision of how to apply GFI products to solve them.
Quickly and effectively craft highly compelling solution-oriented presentations/web- demos custom designed for each customer?s unique needs and focus
Co-build a proposed solution with both the client and other GFI team members.
Deploy and implement the solution and provide ongoing client support to establish adoption within the account.
Be the technical go-to guy/gal throughout the sales cycle
Be able to operate software in a test environment
Strong presentation skills - capable of presenting to 5 to 50 people
Strong IT/Technical skills (understanding of software, hardware, networks, etc.)
Excellent written and verbal communication and analytical skills.
Superior listening skills to effectively ascertain user requirements.
Ability to effectively multitask within a team environment as well as operate independently
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment in a highly organized manner.
Able to handle multiple time-sensitive initiatives and competing priorities.
Goal oriented, self-directed and self-motivated within a team environment.
Ability to present technical concepts in a clear manner to clients through web demos and proposals
Willingness to travel occasionally (domestic and international)
Education / Experience:
Bachelor?s degree in a Computer Science or related field
5+ years experience in technical pre-sales
Previous experience creating and delivering employee training a plus
Superior knowledge of GFI products and solutions
