Sales Engineer (Eastern Region) Code Green Networks
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED Code Green Networks is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer (Boston or New York Area) who possesses outstanding customer relationship skills combined with in depth technical knowledge (Network/Mail Security) and enjoys working very closely with the Sales Organization. This individual will be involved in the sales process from the pre-sales phase through closing and also be available for post sales support. The primary focus of this role is to ?do whatever it takes? to help the Sales organization close new business.
Work with the Sales Team through the entire sales process by providing technical sales support.
Prepare and deliver technical presentations and demonstrations to customers.
Support Sales by authoring responses to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs.
Evangelize the Company?s product to existing clients and at field events such as industry tradeshows, training seminars, and individual sales calls.
Support Marketing by authoring PowerPoint presentations and collaborating on product marketing collateral, FAQs and other materials.
Collect and document customer requirements for the Product Management and Engineering organizations.
Traveling as required to support multiple Sales Executives.
Working knowledge of the Security industry and technical competence in the Networking/Security space.
Pre-sales experience (Sales Engineer) required
Experience working in a start-up environment.
A desire to become very proficient with IDS, Email Security, and Web Proxy technologies.
Must be comfortable in a role that is customer facing. Must be able to explain the product to many audiences at different technical levels.
Strong customer skills. Must be passionate about service delivery, client support and customer satisfaction with the ability to pro-actively manage issues/concerns.
Comfortable working with Partners.
Demonstrated verbal and written analytical/problem solving skills are essential.
Self-motivated, with a proven ability to work effectively in an early-stage-company environment
