Sales Engineer - Information Access - East Coast Recommind

We are looking for a talented Sales Engineer to help promote our growth in an ever increasingly competitive market. The ideal candidate has outstanding communication skills, technical acumen and an ability to build successful relationships with customers. The successful Sales Engineer will have a strong understanding of how our technology can resolve business issues, possesses a consultative sales approach and understands the importance of team work. The successful candidate must be comfortable in a highly technical pre-sales environment, presenting and demoing the product, and ? if needed - designing a proof-of-concept implementation with the customer. This position is located on the US East Coast.
Conduct Recommind Information Access solution presentations with the Account Manager (onsite as well as offsite) for all on-premise/licensed opportunities, on occasion for on-demand/hosted opportunities
Be the go-to-person for any technical questions and assessments
Act as a resource to educate sales on relevant product knowledge
Complete RFP/RFIs for licensed opportunities with the sales team and other departments
Prepare and deliver custom demonstrations
Assess, design and complete proof-of-concept (POC) systems ? on-site or hosted VMs
Communicate client feedback to product management
Attend seminars and trade shows
QualificationsMinimum of 7 years of pre-sales or consulting experience selling software solutions to Law Firms or Corporate Legal Departments
Experience performing on-site Proof of Concepts (POCs) and custom demonstrations
Experience completing RFI/RFPs independently and professionally
Demonstrated success developing relationships with Am Law 200 Firms
Ability to express complex technical and functional concepts effectively, both verbally and in writing to a technical audience and at a C/Partner-Level
Fluency in MS Office applications, aptitude to deliver professionally looking material
Strong Knowledge of business intelligence, document management/email management systems, data analytics and enterprise search
Competent in Windows systems and architectures, including Active Directory, MS Exchange, and MS Outlook
Knowledge of Java, .Net, HTTP, XML
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Exceptional analytical skills
BA or BS required
Travel as necessary to support sales activity, 40%-60%
