Sales Engineer Guardian Analytics
General Job Purpose
The SE (Sales Engineer) will work closely with Direct and Channel Sales Team, supporting all technical aspects of the sales process for GUARDIAN ANALYTICS? products and services. The SE is responsible for technical account management, building strong customer relationships and contributing to the pre and post sales objectives.
Main Functions of the Job
Work closely with our Direct and Channel Sales Teams to execute the technical aspects of the sales process in the western region
Responsible working with the customer to develop pre-sales technical solutions in coordination with Guardian Professional Services
Deliver technical sales presentations and demonstrations of GUARDIAN ANALYTICS?s products to prospects.
Able to convey customer requirements to Product Management teams
Assist in responding to technical questions on RFPs
Act as technical evangelist, promoting GUARDIAN ANALYTICS?s products and associated technologies targeted seminars and industry events.
Position involves travel to customer sites across a multi-state territory.
MAIN QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
5+ years relevant experience
BA/BS or equivalent experience
Previous hands-on experience with C++ and Java programming languages
CORBA, J2EE, and messaging middleware (e.g. MQ, JMS)
Web Services technologies (XML, WSDL, SOAP, etc)
Unix and Windows operating systems
Solid understanding of the IT industry, especially middleware/integration space
Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
Computer Science/Engineering and five years of related experience.
Willingness to travel throughout the US
