Sales Engineer Soasta
This evangelist role is the face and voice of SOASTA in the software engineering community, driving awareness and adoption of the CloudTest Platform. Job Description
The Sales Engineer position drives results across four critical success factors: Customer Satisfaction, Business Results, Technical Leadership and Operational Excellence. As thought leaders in the industry, the Evangelist also works to create technical content such as white papers and blog posts, speak at Meetups and conferences, and contribute to SOASTA?s overall position as the leader in cloud-based testing.
Qualifications
Bachelor degree in Computer Science, MIS or Engineering or equivalent work experience.

Ability to communicate highly technical information to technical professionals and executives.
Understands solutions in the context of the larger business enterprise.
Excellent listening, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Good communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritize workload among changing priorities.
Technical Skills
Experience with testing tools such as LoadRunner, SilkPerformer, and JMeter
Understanding of object-oriented programming languages (C++, Java); Experience with Javascript is a plus
Understanding of typical n-tier application architecture (web, app, database) is a plus
Experience with at least one common application server technology (Java, .NET) is a plus
Knowledge of TCP/IP networking (proxies, firewalls, etc.), and common web technologies (HTTP, REST, Web Services, XML, etc.)
