Sales Engineer RMG Networks
The successful Sales Engineer (SE) will quickly inspire customers confidence in RMG Networks through strong product knowledge and expertise, creativity, integrity, responsiveness, effective communication and thorough solution documentation.
Responsibilities Include (but not limited to)
The individual responsibilities are as follows:
Integrate well within the Sales Engineering team to provide sales with FAST & EFFECTIVE support.
Sharp focus on helping sales close deals with abundant Can Do attitude.
Enable sales to be self-sufficient by striving to provide good knowledge and efficient tools.
Work with sales to determine the real customer need and whether RMG is a good fit.
Gather facts via sales calls, discovery meetings, site surveys, research, RFP/RFI reviews, etc.
Determine integration requirements between RMG and 3rd party data sources, and/or output devices.
Review technical facts, requirements, and concerns with the appropriate technical customer contacts.
Design business solutions using RMG products and best in class 3rd party products.
Document proposed solutions via Diagrams, List of Deliverables, SOWs, BOMs, Wireframe Designs, etc.
Support sales with product demos that focus on RMGs high value differentiators.
Assist sales in preparing Quotes, Professional Services Estimates, RFP responses, Case Studies, Customized Presentations, Special Business Analysis Reports, etc.
Search relentlessly for the best product at the best price to integrate with RMG solutions.
Interface & assist discussions with Strategic Technology & Channel Partners.
Collaborate effectively with other RMG teams to share the knowledge and expectations to maintain consistent customer experience at all levels.
Participate in project kick-off calls to ensure the RMG delivery team has full understanding of the solution scope and the specific expectations communicated to the customer during sales cycle.
Continuously expand knowledge and experience by attending RMG product training/brainstorming sessions/team meetings, enlisting in professional training courses/seminars/webinars, joining PS in actual customer installs, participating in relevant trade shows, joining professional organizations, following latest trends & products in digital signage, etc.
Proactively work on new innovations and demonstrate new concepts in the SE lab.
Support the effort to maintain the Executive Briefing Center and ensure it represents RMGs best image.
Experience and Skills:
The Sales Engineer must be able to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction and added value services through their participation in the RMG engagements. The following competencies are required of such an individual:
BS Degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related technical field preferred.
5 year related experience in call center technology and digital signage.
Strong technical knowledge of IVR, PBX, Databases, A/V equipment & distribution, and digital signage.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Visio, and graphic/analysis tools.
Strong knowledge of Windows, Networking, and Security.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal & written communication skills including active listening & public speaking skills.
Ability to establish quickly a strong rapport with others.
Self-starter; possesses strong leadership and troubleshooting abilities. Works with minimal supervision.
Prompt, timely, thorough, and committed to sales and RMG success.
Team player, flexibility and interest in having an impact on business development.
Ability to absorb and apply copious amounts of technical information.
Ability to use information effectively and apply good judgment in solving problems.
Ability to understand the customer landscape from both a technical and political perspective.
Ability to Travel as required.
Ability to work extended hours as required.
Fluency in Spanish with excellent reading, writing, and verbal communication skills a plus
