Have you recently graduated from college with your Computer Science (or similar) degree? Are you looking to get your foot in the door of a Technology company? This position is based in Waltham, MA. Local candidates are highly preferred.The successful Sales Engineer needs to be consultative in nature, able to analyze and understand a customer?s business process challenges and objectives and create insightful solutions using Verdasys technology.
Responsibilities and Duties include:
Assist the inside sales team to drive revenue by helping to qualify accounts
Analyze customers business requirements and deriving security use-cases for implementation
Prepare and delivering solution-based product presentations
Handle any technical question or issue which arise during a sales cycle
Setting appropriate customer expectations
Requirements:
BS Degree in Mathematics or Computer Science minimum
MS and/or MBA degree a plus
Strong project management, planning and organizational skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills
High energy and enthusiasm for delivering services
Ability to function as an individual contributor, plus as a member of teams and projects
Experience with Microsoft Windows desktop and server technologies (2000/2003/2008) (XP/2000/2003 /Vista/Win7)
Preferred Requirements:
Basic understanding of the information security discipline
Basic knowledge of network design and IP management techniques
Experience with VMWare or similar virtualization technology
