DescriptionProvide technical sales support including; participation in sales calls, creation and review of technical documents suitable for Enterprise Client?s, Provisioning, and Network Engineering. Ability to coordinate between, client, account team and internal order entry and provisioning to ensure a successful sale and implementation process.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
? Assist Enterprise Account Executives in the development of sales opportunities including; opportunity identification, product determination, and proposal development.
? Ensure technical accuracy of all proposals and closed orders.
? Perform various pre-sale technical support responsibilities, including; site surveys, technical presentations, and technical consultations.
? Determine the technical skill level of the sales team, and work with sales management to develop a training program to improve same.
? Maintain and grow technical proficiency and knowledge as it relates to technology trends and products within the industry.
Requirements
? Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science or Business Administration or the equivalent in training and experience.
? Demonstrated experience (5+ years) in the area of information technology, specifically; Layer 2 Ethernet Private Line (PTP, PTMP, Fully Meshed), MPLS, SONET, DWDM, Ethernet, IP Addressing, Firewalls, and VPN.
? Demonstrated project management, teamwork and organization skills.
? Ability to present complex solutions to client and account teams in a simplified, direct and effective manner.
? Effective verbal and written communication skills.
? Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Visio and various Web based applications.
