Sales Engineer/Sales Rep Amptech, Inc.
Job Description: Individual(s) will be responsible for the development and growth of electronics assembly and manufacturing business. This individual will cultivate new relationships and develop/enhance current relationships to increase the company?s position and reputation by properly servicing and corresponding with all assigned accounts in a dependable and timely manner. Territories available include Ohio, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan and Kentucky. Job Duties: ? Identifies current and future customer requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual customers. Provides product, service, or equipment technical and engineering information by answering questions and requests. ? Establishes new accounts and services accounts by identifying potential customers; planning and organizing sales call schedule. ? Consults with professional and technical personnel to prepare cost estimates by studying blueprints, plans and related customer documents. ? Provides technical assistance to customers; investigates and resolves customer complaints. ? Submits orders by conferring with technical support staff. ? Prepares sales engineering reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales information and engineering and application trends. ? Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies. ? Attends industry trade shows to display or demonstrate products and capabilities. ? Contributes to sales engineering effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed; providing information and commentary pertinent to deliberations; recommending options and courses of action; implementing directives. Qualifications: ? 3 to 5 years of related work experience in electronics assembly & manufacturing; electronics engineering; Associates degree; or equivalent combination of education and experience. ? Problem solving; product knowledge; presentation skills, technical understanding. ? Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Position Details: ? This is a full-time, regular employee position. ? Salary is base plus commission based on experience. ?
