The following are common elements of this position. Other duties may be assigned.
Actively drive and manage the technology evaluation stage of the sales process
Work in conjunction with the sales team as the key technical advisor and product advocate for our products
Develop and deliver web-based and live interactive product demonstrations
Represent the product to customers and at field events such as conferences, seminars, etc.
Respond to functional and technical elements of RFQs/RFPs
Convey customer requirements to Product Management team
Travel throughout sales territories
Keep abreast of competition, competitive issues and products
Attend and participate in sales meetings, product seminars, and trade shows
Qualifications/Desirable Attributes:

3-5+ years relevant experience in technology sales, preferably data protection and storage
Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
Able to articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users
Able to identify all technical issues of assigned accounts to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process
Able to establish and maintain strong relationships throughout the sales cycle
Proficient in use of computers and Microsoft Office applications; Salesforce experience a strong plus
BS in Computer Science or a related field is strongly preferred
Work Environment and Physical Demand:
General office environment; minor lifting of computer equipment may be required.
