Sales Engineer Sauce Labs

Be the founding technical member of the team responsible for making the company?s quarterly revenue targets
Map customer problems and systems to Sauce solutions
Understand the customer?s automation infrastructure and goals
Establish confidence in Sauce?s recommendations via product expertise, custom product demonstrations, technical sessions, RFP/RFI responses, and product roadmap discussions
Specify and deliver trusted, long-term, high ROI solutions
Assist customer post-deploy to ensure long-term success
Outbound, the Sales Engineer plays a critical role on the front line building confidence and trust with customers. The Sales Engineer represents or proxies the experience and expertise of key Sauce internal teams to the customer audience.
Articulate the company vision, key messages, and use cases (as per Marketing)
Exhibit complete command of the core platform, including all current and future features (as per Product Management)
Leverage knowledge gained from production deployments and customer experiences (as per Professional Services)
Exhibit strong understanding of core technologies used within the Sauce testing platform, the systems we integrate with, and the methods/APIs used during integration (as per Engineering)
Inbound, the Sales Engineer is the key technical liaison between the customer and the teams above.
Desirable Experience / Skills
The ideal candidate has proven, reference-able experience, including:
1-5 years experience in technical Pre-Sales
Effective and enthusiastic public speaker
Experience with software system configuration and integration
Experience doing presentations in front of large audiences
Experience giving software demonstrations to a range of audiences, developer to executive level
Proven experience with technical business documentation like proposals, SOWs, RFPs and RFIs, etc.
Working familiarity with open source testing frameworks, methodology and principles
Familiarity with testing automation
Development experience, coding ability in multiple languages, ideally including at least Java and PHP
Familiarity with Jenkins, and CI in general.
Familiarity with open source testing frameworks, methodology and principles. Ideal candidate will have some experience with Selenium WebDriver, JUnit and BDD (JBehave or Cucumber)
Familiarity with SaaS solutions, concepts, and business models
