Thanks to your mix of technical and interpersonal skills, you will provide expert support to our account executives, customers and prospects and ensure that our customer?s needs are met and that our superior solutions are chosen over that of our competitors. You will get this done because you are one of a kind person: You are just as comfortable drafting a huge client proposal and driving a PowerPoint presentation as you are pouring over a detailed lists of client requirements or pulling data in Excel via and API. Provide support to Account Executives in the sales process, including understanding customer requirements, mapping customer requirements to product capabilities, answering prospects and customer questions about product capabilities and implementation via email or phone, responding to RFIs and RFPs, demonstrating product capabilities to prospects face to face or via web meetings, articulating unique benefits of Xignite solutions, and developing presentations and proposals.
Become the center point of product and data knowledge and expertise in the sales and marketing organizations. Collect, compile and articulate all customer and market requirements emanating from the sales organization. Participate in all appropriate product, sales, and procedural training to acquire and maintain the knowledge necessary to be effective in the position.
Work with Account Executives and Product Management team to identify and define unique customer requirements or product gaps, evaluate alternate data sources, define contractual terms around the delivery of new features and functions and follow through during the post-sales implementation.
Assist with the onboarding process of new customers. Provide occasional post sales, consulting and training to customers and employees. Record or participate to webinars. Attend customer and market events such as conferences and hackathons.
Attain quarterly and annual objectives assigned by management.
BA or BS Degree.
Minimum 5 years previous experience in the market data industry.
Minimum 2 years previous experience in a sales, sales engineering, support, consulting, or technical capacity with a SaaS or cloud services company or a financial technology company, and a background with customer-facing responsibilities.
Solid understanding of APIs, data feeds, cloud technology, mobile apps and web technologies.
Solid understanding of HTTP, XML, and JSON and intuitive knowledge of popular programming environments and languages.
Solid oral, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to work as part of a team to solve technical problems in a hands-on manner.
Solid experience using Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
Experience using Salesforce.com.
