Sales Engineer - Wholesale Integra Telecom

Description Responsible for assisting for new monthly sales and retaining revenue by providing technical support to assigned accounts. The SE will interact with customers to execute the technical aspects of the sales strategy by developing appropriate solutions and building technical relationships. The SE resolves technical issues during the sales engagement, articulate specific customer requirements, develops solutions, and provides both pre-sale/post-sale support for ensuring the successful service delivery.
Requirements
Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science or Business Administration or the equivalent in training and experience. Demonstrated experience (5+ years) in the area of technical support of carrier/wholesale services and/or Minimum 5 + years working in Sales Engineering or technical sales role within company or comparable organization. Possess analytical skill but out of box creative mind to find a solutions, Demonstrated project management and detail oriented. Requires detail orientation and effective verbal and written communication skills. . Able to develop relationships and communicate with high level customer technical staff as well as operation team. Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines. Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Visio 2000. Data services (IP service, ATM/Frame Relay) and voice services (ISDN PRI, Digital Trunks, Integrated T1 services, Basic Business lines). Understanding of Access Service Request (ASR) preferred. Demonstrated experience in WAN, MAN transport services (Long haul, Metro Private Line TDM, Optical services, Metro/Long haul Wavelength services, Metro Ethernet services (10/100Base, 1000Base T, SONET/WDM BLSR/UPSR configuration, DWDM).
