LogRhythm is searching for a people?focused, highly technical sales professional who provides strong technical sales support, technical direction and business guidance to the sales engineering team. The Sales Engineering Manager drives revenue through prospect engagement, strategic account planning, resource planning, tools creation/augmentation, resource management and time allocation. Proactively develops and maintains a team of high?performing Sales Engineers and continually seeks innovative methods for improving team performance and profitability.
The Sales Engineering Manager will have the following key responsibilities:
Strategic Customer Engagement
Impact business as a strategic industry and solutions expert team resource
Customer satisfaction and issue escalation
Strategic account relationship fostering and development

Maintain, hire, train and mentor a professional Sales Engineering Organization
Solutions expert providing efficient methods to meet customers? requirements
Company representative for presentations with partners, conferences, seminars
Tools ownership; Shared content creation and maintenance of SE related tools/guides/information
Build the engineering structure to scale and grow with the strategy of the company
Collaborate with the Sr. Director to prioritize and target team opportunities; Understand mechanisms for building team capacity and improving team performance. Align resources to deliver on commitments and drive results
Lead team in technical account strategies that align to customer business requirements and goals; assign resources appropriately
Lead cross?functional projects within area of responsibility
Technical sales advocate interfacing with internal departments to meet sales related objectives and advance field feedback
Monitor, collect, and submit product enhancements requests for Product Management
Track and report team metrics; measure team progress against targets and recommend changes as needed
Performance reviews
The candidate must be self-motivated, results oriented, and comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of an agile technical security organization with a rapidly expanding customer base. Candidate must possess outstanding presentation skills, and effectively and professionally communicate in all aspects of the job. An effective Sales Engineer Manager needs to lead from the front and be able to develop strategic methods to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches and be able to close deals at a technical level.

Build the capabilities needed to deliver on the team's short and long term goal
Ability to masterfully present solutions via live presentations and remote webinars
Must have excellent communication and project management skills
Understand the customer's business model and helps the team identify an architecture and/or solution that provides ROI
4+ years industry and management experience
Preferred Skills
CISSP Certification
Security and event management solution experience
Intrusion detection/prevention solution experience
Audit experience (PCI, SOX, FISMA, GLBA, NERC-SIP, CAG, etc.)
Education: BS in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
