Bizzuka seeks an experienced, pro-active Internet Sales professional to market our award winning website designs and our powerful content management solutions to small and medium sized businesses. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with tangible experience in the Internet communications industry who can step in and drive sales from new and ongoing interactive projects. This includes the ability to identify targets, analyze and understand a prospect's business problems, conceive and articulate appropriate Web-based solutions, demonstrate our software, pitch and close business.
First year income potential can easily exceed $50,000 to $100,000. Commissions on each individual sale can range from $500 to $20,000. Commissions are also paid on recurring revenue, making third and fourth year earnings of $150,000 or more easily attainable for the highly motivated individual.
The ideal candidate must be a hands-on sales professional that can demonstrate the ability to market Internet and Web technologies and increase revenues. A strong foundation in the latest Web technologies, content management methods and best practices, as well as interactive design is a must. Prior experience with content management solutions is a strong plus, and a solutions-centric, entrepreneurial personality is a must. You should be able to express yourself well in email, in Web-based demonstrations, and in person. You must also be a team player.
This position reports to the Vice President of Sales.
Responsibilities:
Prospecting, brainstorming for and presenting to new and existing prospects/clients
Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales quota
Identify and contact the decision makers in targeted companies
Qualify the needs of the prospect to determine if our products provide a solution
Schedule and conduct product demonstrations to qualified prospects
Work with management and support staff to respond to proposal opportunities
Lead the development of proposals, keeping the team on track to meet the needs of the prospect
Schedule and present business proposal and pricing information; revise as necessary
Upon acceptance of a proposal, secure all required legal documents (License Agreements, Work Orders, Maintenance Agreements, etc.) from customers that purchase our products and services
Record all initial & follow-up contact information in the appropriate CRM and Activity & Opportunity tracking databases.
Develop and execute prospecting and follow-up correspondence as required by our documented and proven selling process
Provide status reports on all sales activities as requested by management
Secure opportunities for repeat purchase of our products and services with current client base
Conduct all sales activities in a manner that protects the company and its core values
Represent our company in a professional manner
Required Skills and Knowledge:
Extensive experience selling Web technologies and Internet related products
Top producer that has met or exceeded quota on a consistent basis
Experienced at consultative selling and solution selling techniques
Strategic thinker and problem solver
Proven ability to sell strategically and compress sales cycles
Knowledgeable about business practices in the sales and marketing of considered purchases
Experienced at selling software products and consulting services to small and medium sized enterprises
Strong negotiation skills
Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of client management
Knowledgeable about the Internet, brand management, information architecture and sales distribution practices
Proficient in both verbal and written communications
Proficient at prospecting and setting appointments
Able to operate independently
Requirements:
Prior experience selling websites, telecommunications or Internet based software solutions;
Minimum of 5 years sales experience;
College degree preferred or proven success track record.
Ideal candidate will have a 'rolodex' of contacts that can immediately be contacted for a demonstration of our OnDeCC content management system.
