Sales Executive OwnCloud
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED ownCloud, the leader in open source enterprise file share and sync software, is seeking a Sales Executive. We are a well funded, highly dynamic early-stage company located in the Boston area.
As a Sales Executive you will work closely with large enterprise customers across North America identifying, qualifying and selling ownCloud Subscriptions and professional services. You will coordinate all communications with key accounts, and oversee the entire sales process from lead to invoice. Candidate must be a highly motivated self starter and have a track record of success in early-stage companies.
Open source experience, particularly selling subscription-based offerings is highly desired.
Qualified Candidate will be asked to:
Work with existing and prospective customers via email, phone and face to face
Some travel to customer locations, schedule and manage interactions, and provide status reports during the sales process
Provide and create business proposals to generate win-win situations
Guide prospects through the subscription sales process and the value of ownCloud
Be highly successful in competitive situations
Lead the contract generation process and coordinate legal and purchasing procedures
Be highly motivated and self-driven to do the right thing for the customer and ensure revenue success and technical acceptance
Substantial experience selling software to large enterprises via email, phone and in person
Strong track record of exceeding sales goals
Experience managing a complex, high level sales process
Ability to build internal networks to get right answers for prospective clients and partners
Ability to communicate key market trends and customer requirements internally to ownCloud management and key internal constituents
A foundational understanding of subscription and / or solution selling
Self-motivated, self-starter, work well alone without constant supervision. Proactive.
Must be located in the Boston Area (ownCloud office is in Lexington, MA)
Up to 10% travel for customer visits and trade shows required
