Responsibilities:
- Proactively manage territory, prospect, strategize, negotiate, build regional partner communities, and manage to business targets in a consistent fashion
- Develop high quality relationships with expert VARs, IT Consultants, Software Integrators and Telecom Consultants
- Drive corporate client sales directly and through your established high quality partner/channel relationships
- Analyze, recommend, and provide appropriate solution sets to clients to build a strong reference base of clients that are highly satisfied
- Facilitate the highest level of professionalism to build on-going relationships with your clients, partners, and internal staff
Qualifications:
- Strong technical solution selling skills, relationship building, and a proven track record of selling to the C suite.
- Engaging presentation and speaking skills along with solid writing, and active listening skills
- High organizational skills with the ability to define, target, and actively penetrate an assigned territory
- Strong hunting skills and a demonstrated willingness to prospect for new business
- Consistent sales performer with an emphasis on the ability to manage complex sales cycles and orchestrate resources to obtain results
- Proven track record of exceeding quota in a direct and/or indirect consultative sales role
Preferred:
- Consultative sales experience with phone system expertise and/or with an interconnect or integrator selling phone systems
- Experience-based knowledge of sales / implementation of networks based on the Cisco architecture
- Direct experience discussing TCO and solutions with clients
- Successfully developed long-term relationships with VARs and IT Consultants
- Demonstrated competence as a trusted advisor to CEOs, CFOs, IT management and IT field personnel of small and mid-sized businesses.
