Sales Executive mPortal
Description:
mPortal is seeking a proven Sales Executive who will drive sales of mPortal?s mobile application development services and solutions as well as related consulting services, and will be responsible for helping the company reach and exceed its revenue goals.
This role will require the candidate to work with the Management Team to build sales strategies, source leads that meet those strategies, build deep and lasting relationships and uncover opportunities, close deals leveraging other Team members as necessary, and maintain those relationships to ensure that mPortal will be successful over time.
The successful candidate will be a detailed planner, excellent relationship builder, and relentless in his/her drive to find new business opportunities. He/She will be driven and high energy, have a presence and great people skills as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills. Compensation for this position will be an industry-standard combination of base salary and variable compensation based on achievement of individual and company goals
Key Job Responsibilities Include:
Target, qualify, position, and execute mobile application development and services sales opportunities in the enterprise space.
Meet or exceed quarterly revenue and bookings quotas.
Identify and develop relationships at target Customers.
Research the target Customers to anticipate their needs, identify their business goals and strategy, understand their operational and technical pain points, constraints and requirements, and then help them address them by positioning mPortal solutions and services.
Work effectively with a variety of internal mPortal Team members to scope, estimate, and plan projects in response to target opportunities.
Write and/or oversee the writing of proposals that win business.
Effectively report on business development activities and sales progress through internal systems and processes.
Interact with all working levels at Customers to evangelize our solutions and services to drive follow-on sales.
Become an expert in mPortal?s product portfolio, services and processes.
Maintain knowledge of competing products to better position mPortal?s solutions and services.
Respond to functional and technical elements of proposals and RFI/RFP responses, acting as proposal manager if necessary.
Drive the development of and deliver mobile application demonstrations relevant to prospects.
Experience and Skills Requirements:
3+ years of successful business development/sales experience selling software solutions in the mobile, web or social media space.
Demonstrate deep knowledge and understanding of the mobile industry and trends affecting it, as well as mobile application development practices.
Strong understanding and experience with multiple mobile platforms/environments such as iOS, Android, Blackberry, WM/WP7
Proven success presenting technology as a business solution.
Comfortable calling on all levels of a company or organization.
Deep relationships at top companies and organizations are desired.
Experience in an emerging organization that sells products/services into new markets a plus.
Highly effective communicator; excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
Detail oriented and extremely well organized.
Outgoing people person, with a goal-oriented, self-motivated personality committed to success.
Possess an innate curiosity and passion for digital technologies and interactive solutions.
Skilled in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Bachelor?s degree required, a focus on business or digital/interactive technologies and solutions preferred; Master?s degree a plus.
