The Director of Sales is responsible for building and managing a sales region and reviewing deals within the region, creating and executing geographic sales strategies; and ultimately driving and maintaining profitable revenue to meet company objectives. The individual in this position is expected to manage and grow a personal business portfolio within their territory. This position requires an individual with strong sales and negotiation experience in a consultative selling environment. Leadership skills should include creative problem solving coupled with business conscious decision making abilities. It is expected that this position be able to accurately scope complex engagements and structure proposals to accurately depict a designed solution. The position is also responsible for on-going client relationship management, up/cross-selling, and the successful closure of sale opportunities. The Director of Sales will be expected to jointly sell with partners and internal resources.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
?Successfully structure, price, sell and negotiate deals within the professional services space for CRM/Salesforce.com solutions
?Ability to drive new firm business while maintaining a solid profit margin
?Ability to manage multiple concurrent opportunities across the CRM/Salesforce.com practice
?Ability to build and lead a pursuit team consisting of both delivery and sales individuals through a successful sales cycle on closing future business
?Ability to monitor the performance of assigned region and ensure the team is meeting or exceeding company objectives
?Proven success in Professional Services and Consulting selling experience is a must
?Demonstrated experience managing a sales team with excellent organization and time management skills
?Demonstrated business development, selling and relationship management skills
?Demonstrated leadership and team building skills
?Excellent verbal and written communication skills including advanced client-facing and presentation skills including the ability to influence and negotiate with clients
?Solid problem solving and decision making skills coupled with strong analytical thought processes
?Thorough understanding of either SFA & CRM markets, application services, marketing automation, client care BPO and or application modernization solutions
?Thorough understanding of key industry players and trends in the marketplace
?Demonstrated experience with deal scoping, proposal writing, deal structuring and contract negotiations.
?Undergraduate degree in Business, Marketing, or Technology or other related field; related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Master?s degree is desirable but not required.
?10+ years of relevant experience selling in a consultative selling and sales management role
?Three plus years in field experience as an individual contributor with individual quota responsibility
?Commitment to stay current with relevant new learning; active participant in company sponsored learning events
?Will uphold the highest of business ethics and personal integrity
