Sales Executive Current Analysis
The Sales Executive must meet individual monthly, quarterly and annual sales quotas while contributing to the larger renewal and new business growth goals of the company. Successful candidates will demonstrate success in a collaborative, fast-paced, innovative environment and have demonstrated experience in selling industry-specific solutions to an executive-level audience. This person will be energetic, self-motivated and able to work in a multi-national environment with minimal supervision. This position will require approximately 30-40% travel.
Essential Job Functions:
Identify and understand the business goals, objectives, key customer issues, and new initiatives of clients and prospects in order to develop the appropriate Current Analysis Competitive Response Solution
Qualify the client?s organizational structure, available budget and decision process to ensure accurate forecasts of renewal business and new business growth opportunities
Demonstrated ability to sell high value information services
Identify and understand the client and prospect?s key business processes and customer support needs to help embed competitive response solutions into the client workflow
Develop healthy business relationships with a broad set of senior executives; key department representatives; and functional users at clients and prospects.
Achievement of sales goals and objectives
Collaborate with the Current Analysis Analyst Team and Custom Research Group to ensure accurate opportunity identification of syndicated and customized content solutions, applications, and tools to drive renewal and new business growth.
Work with product marketing to provide market feedback on new product offerings
Job Qualifications Include:
3 plus years of successful consultative sales experience
Excellent communication skills, especially the ability to articulate a compelling message and influence, persuade and negotiate with all levels of people to achieve win-win situations
Presentation and negotiation skills
Experience in managing multiple complex sales cycles in conjunction with facilitating C-level meetings
Effective prioritization and time management skills
Bachelor?s degree required or equivalent business experience
Proficient in MS Office Suite
Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM applications is a plus
