Sales Force Effectiveness Director Modular Space Corporation
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED ModSpace is seeking a Director of Salesforce Effectiveness to report to the Vice President of Sales as a key member of the sales leadership of ModSpace.
This role works closely with the VP Sales and Sales and Operations Directors across the business to develop a clear/actionable sales strategy to capture additional market share in the modular industry and deliver year-over year financial growth through a sales team of over 120 sales reps across North America.
This highly visible role focuses on 4 critical areas:
Translation of metric sales goals, satisfaction metrics (NPS) and analysis of sales and leasing performance to actionable sales behaviors or programs
This includes identifying and driving best practices in development of a Strategic Account Portal Community and driving the community as an integral part of sales activities and customer focus
Working with marketing to develop sales support materials and programs
Sales metrics creation and analysis with other functions designed to provide effective data for performance management, talent management, recruitment focus, forecasting refinement and more
Refining and enhancing current use and configuration of CRM SalesForce.com to maximize benefits of the tool in the sales process and accuracy and effectiveness of reporting and ensure seamless integration with internal programs
Driving a culture of coaching by providing sales training and coaching of actionable behaviors both through Sales Directors and directly in training sessions in the field, at corporate, or as a system expert across the business
This role has two direct reports and will require up to 50% travel across the US.
For consideration, candidates should have:
A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management or Marketing or the equivalent work experience
At least 10 years of relevant sales experience across various roles including outside sales
5+ years of supervisory experience
5+ years successful experience in B2B consultative sales
Strong ability to understand, manage and use IT systems as an enabler in the sales and reporting functions
Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation and influencing skills
This individual will also need to demonstrate:
A proven history of helping to create and drive a best-in-class, nationally recognized sales platform/program within an organization
The ability to drive behaviors effectively across functions in a decentralized matrix organization
Currency in knowledge of widely accepted sales models, including the challenger rep
The ability to translate strategic initiatives to tactical activities and gain buy-in across the organization at all levels
Experience in the modular industry or in a leasing environment is preferred as is a Master's degree.
