Job Description:
The Sales & Implementation Engineer is a hands-on technologist responsible for driving successful implementations on the FitLinxx Wellness Platform with new and existing partners. This person will support the Sales team by offering technical expertise and delivering technical demonstrations in-person and via web-based tools, and will own the on-boarding experience for new partners, including defining requirements, creating project schedules, and managing all aspects of the Quick Start partner program.
Key Objectives:
Provide technical pre-sales support to strategic prospects, including delivering presentations to technical and non-technical audiences and assessing partner needs and capabilities.
Actively manage multiple implementations simultaneously, including planning, organizing, and executing project plans and communicating project status to internal groups.
Serve as the technical adviser and problem solver to partners to assist them in optimizing their use of the product suite to define, build and deploy activity & health tracking programs to employers.
Gather partner application requirements, including data needs, user-experience and program objectives, and create detailed implementation plans outlining the best practices for utilizing the Wellness Platform API to achieve objectives in the most scalable and efficient way.
Participate in all aspects of the partner?s application development process, including code reviews, performance and user experience testing.
Support new client implementations with existing partners. Serve as the main point of contact for client IT groups to support Access Point rollouts, which will include technical review meetings, site planning and prep, and rollout support.
Continuously identify areas of improvement for processes, documentation and products to ensure maximum value for customers and minimum resources requirements from FitLinxx.
Contribute to the growth of the business through the creation and sharing of knowledge and best practices based on engagement experiences.
Required Skills and Education:
Minimum 4 years related experience as a Sales Engineer, Implementation Manager, Professional Services Consultant or similar role.
Exceptional implementation skills, to include pre-sales support and creation of scope; pre-implementation budgeting and planning; project management with respect to adherence to milestones and budgets; and post-implementation handoff to Support teams.
Extensive knowledge of SOAP, XML, HTTP, TCP/IP, and HTML is required.
Demonstrated ability to deliver effective presentations and communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
Proven ability to quickly master new technologies.
Bachelor degree (preferred) in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Management.
Willingness to travel up to 20% as required.
Enthusiasm for health, wellness and fitness programs is a plus.
