General Responsibilities: The Sales Information Manager supports the Vice President of Sales by collecting, synthesizing, collating and succinctly presenting POS, Pricing, CDF, and Shipment Data on all customers. The Sales Information Manager will create reports that drive performance and optimize profitability. The Sales Information Manager will work across the organization interfacing with Senior Management, Sales, Marketing & Supply Chain groups representing the Vice President of Sales.
Examples of Typical Activities:
Create and publish key performance metrics.
Run variance reports and review outliers to make educated adjustments to the forecast.
Provide weekly reports and corporate ?state of the business? communications.
Develop annual Business Plans with Sales Directors.
Deliver the Sales Information requirements for monthly S&OP meetings.
Required Experience
BS Degree and a minimum of 2-5 years of experience in sales or analytical sales support positions.
Consumer Product Goods category experience preferred but not required.
Knowledge of Consumer Products National Retail Accounts.
Required Technical Competencies
Demonstrated ability to manage unstructured data and create useful reports and analysis.
Forecasting Skills-demonstrated experience in forecasting and understanding seasonal profiles, forecasting & sales trends.
Strong Microsoft Excel-spread sheet and data base applications.
Proficient with MS Office Suite.
Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills
