Yelp is seeking Spring interns to work side-by-side with our passionate, hardworking Account Executives. That?s right, each intern will work on the sales floor to learn everything from prospecting new leads, to building relationships, and even help seasoned veterans close deals.
We are looking for students who wish to gain to sales skills, want to be apart of a hardworking team, and get real work experience in a growing company.
Intern Requirements:
Pursuing a B.A. or B.S. in Business, Communications, or related field
Must commit to 15 - 20 hours per week
Must commit to 2 days a week (minimum) with a schedule from 8:30am - 2:30pm
An entrepreneurial spirit. Our team is hard-working, self-motivated and confident.
A passion for sales. Specifically online advertising and helping local businesses succeed
Must implement feedback and be a quick learner. The Yelp Sales Internship Program will require interns to adapt to change, think outside the box and assimilate into the office environment.
During the 12 weeks at Yelp, you will learn:
Everything there is to know about Yelp - and the online advertising industry.
The art of persuasion
Assist seasoned reps with everything from prospecting leads and driving the full sales cycle from introductory calls to closing deals
Educate potential clients around the power of Yelp's online advertising
Establish lasting, mutually beneficial relationships with clients, colleagues and the Yelp Sales Team.
