ForteBio, Inc. is a fast growing life sciences company producing innovative instruments and consumables to pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, as well as to academic organizations.
Accountabilities:
? Achieve sales quota through direct sales of company products in your assigned sales territory
? Promote ForteBio products through sales calls, lead generation, on-site seminars, trade shows, and user meetings
? Provide forecast of instrument and consumable sales to management as required
? Develop a strong technical understanding of ForteBio products, applications, and competitor technologies
? Collaborate with Field Application Specialists to provide technical presentations of ForteBio products at customer accounts
? Manage resources to provide optimal pre-sales information, product demonstration, technical close, and post sales support
? Maximize customer satisfaction to ensure and promote continued use and adoption of ForteBio technology to increase consumable sales
? Perform other duties as needed
Qualifications:
? B.S. or B.A. in life science related discipline; advanced education and/or laboratory experience is desirable
? Four years of proven sales achievement and experience with capital equipment and consumable in pharmaceutical, biotech, academic, and government accounts
? Experience selling detection systems is desirable; understanding of ELISA, HPLC, and/or SPR techniques will be considered preferable
? Self-starter who is result and success oriented with proven ability to develop a territory strategy for quota attainment
? Ability to travel 30-50% overnight visits
? Excellent communication, organizational, and presentation skills required
