Sales Manager - Fashion & Speciality Retail Manthan Systems

Education:Advanced degree in quantitative sciences or MBA (quantitative marketing)
Location:USA ? East Coast, NY/NJ
Lead and drive sales for our portfolio of analytical solutions for fashion and speciality in the process, ensuring achievement of targeted revenues. This role will assist the SVP & GM America?s in implementing strategies for business development and will have complete responsibility inclusive of customer/sector identification, strategy and account management for the region
This would require to identify, develop and qualify sales opportunities in the region which translate into managing sales with the sole focus of maximizing revenues in a timely, reliable, and consistent basis, accurately forecasting annual and quarterly revenue streams and actively managing all aspects of the sales cycle
Qualify and drive analytics product deals in a highly challenging and competitive market. In addition to being responsible for new business development, the role also includes being involved with prospect development, understanding business and technology scenario and needs, identifying opportunities, solution offerings and business case to the customer, product demonstrations, preparation of proposals and final negotiation and closure
Maintain primary account responsibility through the entire sales cycle, including guiding the sales team through the initial project and implementation and performing on-going high level account management responsibilities to ensure customer satisfaction and referenceability
Some Pre-requisites for the role:
Possess strong experience in Sales/Sales management, primarily selling into to Fashion Retail Accounts in the US. It is a pre-requisite that the successful candidate would have deep expertise of selling analytic solutions to Heads of Technology/Marketing/Merchandising
Sales experience would include selling analytic products & solutions in the Customer Analytics/Merchandising/e-Commerce analytics area and possess experience of demonstrating products, articulating value proposition while managing complex sales cycles
Demonstrable experience in sales strategy, business growth through New Business and Account Hunting, Account Management and Farming
Possess demonstrated capability of building strong relationships with C-level executives
Possess deep understanding, insights and relationships in the Fashion and Speciality Retail Industry
Experience of working with geographically diverse/distributed teams will be a plus.
Industry and Sales Experience in between 6 and 10 years.
