Job Description
We provide systems and application management software for Windows and Linux Servers. Our products are used by over 7,000 companies worldwide from small businesses to Fortune 1000 enterprises, and some of the world's largest datacenters and cloud infrastructure providers. Our Idera products focus on the management needs of Windows server admins and our R1Soft products focus on the continuous data protection needs of Linux and Windows server admins in hosted, cloud and enterprise environments.
This position is a sales management position and your duties will include, managing a team of Account Managers, setting up product evaluations, developing and closing business, as well forecasting and contacting customers and prospects. Maintaining the relationship will involve customer support for all current and future customers in your given territories..
Roles and Responsibilities
Identify legitimate sales opportunities using metrics and rules for your Account Managers
Generate business revenues for a specific product line
Maintain a good level of service and support with existing customers and assist in the sale process
Provide weekly verbal and written forecast reports and contact large opportunities
Provide quarterly evaluations of each of your Account Managers and report on quarterly progress
Possess thorough knowledge of company and products/services we market
Be able to present to and assist your sales team in the closing of business
Qualify and follow up on every large opportunity in your regional territory
Motivate and excite your team to attain quota and excel in their regions
Divide, break up, manage, hire and grow you respective region
Required Skills
At least five years of software sales experience
Highly motivated team leader
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota as a Manager
Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills
Adaptability to adapt to a fast-paced environment with extremely aggressive deadlines
Ability to clearly articulate and communicate product knowledge to your Account Managers
Team player with a positive attitude and passion to be a part of a rapidly growing company
Detail and results oriented
