THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED Pulsepoint is a leading digital marketing technology company that helps advertisers, publishers and agencies manage their branding, acquisition, retention and monetization campaigns across multiple channels. The Director of Sales is responsible for generating leads, negotiating and closing sales for StormPost, our Enterprise-level ESP solution. The Sales Director is responsible for consistently meeting assigned revenue objectives and managing all client relationships. The Sales Director is responsible for achieving quarterly revenue quota targets, acquiring new customers and developing creative solutions for accounts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Generate business opportunities through professional, dedicated prospecting and cold-calling
Develop a sustained pipeline of accounts by actively prospecting via cold-calls and marketing lead follow-up
Consistently meet or exceed revenue goals each quarter.
Accurately forecast quarterly business.
Ability to provide customer support throughout the various phases of the customer lifecycle.
Delegate to Sales Engineers and Account Management teams to assist in customer on-boarding and implementation phases.
Update and upkeep of Salesforce.com with current information about key contacts, data points and other essential information
5+ years of sales experience selling across brands focusing on email and analytics.
A minimum of 2 years experience in the ESP business.
Understanding of email, mobile and social services and strategy.
Demonstrated strategic sales and interacting with C-Level executives
Must have contacts in senior marketing and digital roles within the assigned territory
Proven ability to work remotely and coordinate with teams in multiple cities.
Experience with using and forecasting through sales automation tools i.e. Saleforce.com.
Superior communication skills, including presentations, phone and e-mail.
Very organized, responsive to requests and timelines.
Comfortable in a fast-paced environment that fosters get-it-done independent attitude.
Able to handle numerous details and interactions with customers each day.
Passionate about their work and contribution to the team/company objectives.
Bachelor?s degree in Marketing, Advertising or Communications.
