Pivot3 was founded in 2003 on the idea that today's stack of virtual servers, shared storage and networks could
be converged to drive down complexity and cost while dramatically increasing scale-out performance. Today,
Pivot3 has over 600 customers across the globe deploying Pivot3 vSTAC? converged storage and compute
appliances.
Pivot3 products are deployed in the video surveillance and virtual desktop markets, and have seen particular
success in the public sector, transportation, gaming, education and retail vertical segments. The company has won
numerous awards and was most recently selected by the Wall Street Journal for the prestigious "2011 Next Big
Thing" category.
As a Pivot3?s Sales Manager, you will represent us in the Greater Chicago Area. For us to feel confident about
your sales capability, a documented history of increasing sales within an assigned territory is needed. We are also
seeking a person adaptable in tailoring presentations to individual customer?s needs.

Here are some of the important job duties:
? Continually promote and educate end users, security integrators, and A&E consultants to about the benefits of
Pivot3?s Surveillance products? Determine quality of a prospect; responsibly pursue and manage time-lines
? Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, luncheons and
speaking-seminars
? Maintain consistent and proactive relations with prospects and current customers
? Work collaboratively with Pivot3?s technology partners, developing and cultivating sales prospects
? Work closely with Pivot3 Sales Engineers for customer?s proper solutions/applications, and
products
? Participate in trade shows, seminars, and other promotional sales activities
? Participate in educational events, staying current with industry news
Must Haves? for the job:
? Bachelor?s degree or equivalent electronic trade training
? 5+ years experience in security sales driven industry
? 2+ years experience in the sales field of IP camera manufacturers and NVR software providers, VMS software
providers, surveillance integrators
Desirables:
? Knowledge and experience with computer networks
? Strong technical background
? ASIS CPP or PSP Certification
? Salesforce.com or equivalent CRM experience
