The Apps business has a strong technology infrastructure, consisting wholly of proprietary code developed for the following functions:
Revenue and Cost per Install Optimizations
This team is comprised of 31 employees ranging from Software Engineers, Business Development Executives, Media Buyers, Partner Development Managers, and Business Intelligence Analyst. The Apps team is made up of extremely enthusiastic and intelligent professionals who are passionate about the work they do and the people that they work with. Based out of southwest Florida in Ft. Myers (nicknamed the Paradise Coast), the sunny days, warm weather and no dress code make for a fun-filled work environment! The fast paced, start-up mentality has been a key contributor to the Apps channel continued growth and success. This position would report to Senior Director of Sales, Apps.
The Manager, Publisher Sales is responsible for sales strategy, approach and leading of the Apps Channel sales team. This individual should work with other teams and attend key industry events to network with key players and showcase apps products. Primary duties include:
Sales Strategy & Approach: Generate innovative ideas for how to ramp Optimum Installer sales rapidly. Prioritize these and turn them into tangible sales structure and pipeline
Team Building: Hire, train and lead a world class sales of 3-4 professionals
Sales Co?ordination: Work with the Advertiser Sales team to ensure coverage in expanding markets.
Planning & Reporting: Lead sales planning, reporting and ad hoc analysis, to drive insight, discipline and revenue growth
Networking: Attend key events and/ or generate contacts with key industry players to showcase Optimum Installer as the best, most innovative, highest ROI apps advertising platform
The successful candidate will be an inspiring and confident leader with at least:
At least five (5) years of online ad sales or Internet related sales experience
Experience in leading a sales and business development team.
Proven success at building and managing a sales organization to achieve and exceed targeted goals.
Sharp commercial acumen, capable of thinking through various possible business models and pricing options
Sales experience with multiple products in various geographies
Successful track record in giving business presentations
Competent in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Salesforce.com

MEASURES OF SUCCESS
There are several key measurements of success this employee will use to benchmark performance including:
Execute against weekly and monthly targets for new business attainment.
Accurately forecast the sales pipeline towards these targets for management.
