Sales Manager
Position Summary:
Identify and develop commercial relationships with key agencies and advertisers at a senior level to sell the benefits of our technology and network product
Essential Functions:
- Manage day-to-day communications with planner/buyer contacts at agencies
- Respond to RFPs and maximize order value of the network in order to deliver against sales targets
- Be on the cutting edge of the audience targeting market, both evangelizing the key concepts and constantly refining and communicating AudienceScience requirements in accordance with current and future market trends
- Organize and present regular group presentations on these topics to media agencies
- Communicate market requirements and feedback from clients, prospects and competitors to internal teams (including Marketing, Sales, Account Management, Product Development and Operations) which lead to the appropriate product advances and solutions
Knowledge, skills, abilities, qualifications required:
- 3+ years digital media (preferably network) sales experience
- Experience of dealing with both brand and DR/performance metrics
- Skills with understanding and explaining technology, and its benefits to customers
- Excellent oral, written and presentation skills
Knowledge, skills, abilities, qualifications desirable:
- Ideally educated to Bachelors Degree level
- Experience in selling audience targeting solutions within the advertising marketplace
- An understanding of the world of data â€" either online or offline
- An interest in emerging technologies and the ability to communicate the benefits in non-technical terms
