Sales Manager DocuSign
Job Overview:
Sales Managers should mentor each AE individually while also building a strong cohesive, collaborative team. Sales Managers are responsible for monitoring pipelines and delivering on quota and forecasted booking revenue.
Responsibilities:
Grow DocuSign MRR in defined vertical market from new SMB accounts
Daily management of sale team of up to 9 AEs
Develops and executes sales process and strategies and ensures compliance to internal data management and reporting including use of Salesforce.com
Assesses sales activities and forecasts to determine sales progress and required improvements. Recommends and implements improvements to achieve sales goals.
Coach salespeople to develop their sales skills including vertical market management, forecasting, prospecting, negotiations, and other necessary skills; while maintaining individual accountability to goals
Maintain and protects DocuSigns core values by hiring culturally aligned team members and leading by example.
Provides value in complex negotiations and the closing of new business, including appropriate use of Senior Sales and Corporate Executives to maximize results
Work with each AE to develop and implement vertical-wide business and sales plans to achieve sales quota by:
Building a solid prospect pipeline;
Providing opportunity identification and new market opportunity;
Proactively and effectively utilizing Salesforce.com CRM
Formulating & executing major account strategies
Accurately and consistently forecasts monthly, quarterly, and annual bookings
Ensures the team effectively leverages sales tools and systems consistently and in alignment with Rules of Engagement.
Communicates and prioritizes product and business needs from the field to appropriate corporate departments.
Identifies and supports opportunities for the training and professional development of department personnel.
Provides the sales team an effective sales executive to leverage in the sales cycle.
Operates well in a fast paced, dynamic environment without requiring significant supervision.
Qualifications
BA/BS in a business or a technical related field of study from an accredited college or university.
6+ years prior sales management experience, preferably in a position selling SaaS/Cloud Applications Software at the Enterprise level.
