Sales Manager ON24
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED The Sales Manager will be a key member of ON24?s Acquisition team that closes business with new logos through a combination of platform and service solutions to address business objectives primarily in Marketing, Sales, and Training.
Based in our San Francisco headquarters, this position will manage a diverse team of 8+ individuals who sell ON24?s webcasting and virtual environment solutions to companies with >$100M in revenue.
Reporting directly to our VP Global Sales, this is a great opportunity for a hands-on sales leader with 2-5 years of management experience in a fast-paced SaaS organization who can establish consistent and predictable vision, strategy and direction for the team.
Manage a team of 8+; the team as a whole is charged with qualifying opportunities, securing demonstrations and meetings with key decision makers and closing new business. Target customers include enterprise and mid-market companies (>$100M in revenue) focused Marketing.
Develop and enforce processes to track and improve the performance of team members based on call volume, quality of meetings, quality of opportunities, close rate and more. Work closely with VP of Global Sales to ensure overall team success in relation to defined metrics.
Achieve all team sales targets set by the company.
Attend sales seminars, sales meetings or educational activities to stay up-to-date on the latest developments, trends, and regulations in the market place.
Keep current with all ON24 product information, pricing and contract terms.
Travel, as required, to meet prospects and customer face-to-face.
5+ years of demonstrated success selling to Marketing within enterprise or mid-market organizations.
3+ years of experience selling SaaS software, Marketing Cloud & Marketing Automation a plus.
Demonstrated experience managing a new business acquisition team; must have strong sales organizational scale background.
Proven track record of pipeline management & closing deals.
Outstanding consultative selling abilities and excellent interpersonal skills with executive level customers and partners.
A Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field.
Ability to converse in a knowledgeable manner on various industry topics and Internet technologies in order to ?sell? opportunities to prospective customers.
Ability to create successful sales strategies for ON24 products and/or services.
Must have the ability and skills to develop relationships quickly, both internally within ON24 and externally with prospect/customers.
Must possess highly developed organizational, planning and management skills.
Must have superior written and oral communication skills.
Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, quota-driven environment with changing needs and requirements.
Professional experience with Salesforce.com, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
