telecom / datacom and networking vendors. Our technology enables OEMs and ODMs to accelerate time to market, reduce development and maintenance costs and improve product quality as they develop innovative access, carrier, enterprise, edge, and core networking equipment.
You will have the unique opportunity to play a key role in the development of IP Infusion?s expansion. We are looking for a dynamic experienced sales leader with the drive to accelerate the growth of business by generating large scale engagements ensuring success for customers and IPI. The ideal candidate will be entrepreneurial with a laser focus on strategic and financial goals. The candidate must also have the ability to engender trust and credibility, understand customer business and operational challenges and articulate solutions benefiting both the customer and IP Infusion. In this role you will grow our current base of business and recruit new clients. You will have a broad sphere of influence engaging with executives, middle management and engineering teams globally. In this role you must effectively manage resources, relationships and close business.
Experience selling multimillion multiyear engagements in long sales cycle is required.
At least 10+ years management experience with proven track record of developing highly successful teams which consistently meet or exceed booking and revenue targets.
Experience must include software sales and series to telecom and datacom markets.
Knowledge of networking architecture and concepts to include: 1) Routing protocols such as PBB/PBT, BGP, OSPF, IS-IS and similar protocols. 2) Layer 2 protocols such as xSTP, Trill, data center bridging. 3) Software defined networking concepts.
Must have strong executive presence with excellent communication skills.
Outstanding references are mandatory.
Experience in sales to network equipment firms is a plus, and a background in sales to engineering organizations is highly desired.
A personal network that is within our target market and customer base is also a plus.
Engineering degree (BSCS or BSEE) or experience in software engineering is a plus.
