Job Description:
The Marketing and Sales Administrative Assistant contributes to the accomplishment of Marketing and Sales practices and objectives. The candidate will be responsible for all administrative functions in the marketing and sales department including: providing administrative support to the marketing and sales team, literature fulfillment, sales lead coordination, assisting with coordination of companys sales and marketing events such as tradeshows and meetings; managing calendars, travel, lead fulfillment, expense reporting, and perform other duties as assigned.
Experience and Skills:
For succcess, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The following requirements are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Experience:
Two ? three years of administrative experience is preferred. Familiarity in running and analyzing MRKT related reports is preferred.
Communication:
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must work well in a team environment; must display pleasant and professional behavior and have a positive attitude; must be highly organized and efficient with good decision making skills.
Physical Demands:
Be able to sit at a desk and use computer for long periods of time (most of work day). Occasionally able to lift/carry a minimum of 20 pounds; some standing and walking is required.
Computer Skills:
Must be Windows competent and be excellent with M/S Office software in particular Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
Other:
Must have excellent organization and time management skills; great attention to detail, excellent proofreading skills; ability to multitask and be flexible with workload.
