Sales & Marketing Operations Manager Gamma Medica Inc.
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED The Sales & Marketing Operations Manager will work closely with the sales team and management to oversee and maintain the integrity reported data, perform analysis, and provide routine reports that will support the management with defining strategies and decision making. Working on a high profile team the qualified individual will support the sales and marketing organization in the commercialization of innovative products in the area of breast cancer detection.
This Position reports to the VP of Sales & Marketing with a dotted line to Sr. Director of Marketing and involves 10 - 30% travel.
Sales Key Responsibilities
-Work closely with Territory Sales Managers to develop and maintain sales reporting, bookings forecasts, database enrichment and other operational duties
-Coordinate weekly conference calls with individual sales manager; and track the performance of each territory against the sales scorecard
-Develop and distribute accurate and timely reports
-Identify salesforce.com process improvements, increase salesforce.com productivity and monitor salesforce.com compliance with CRM principles and practices
-Participate in inter-departmental meetings
-Coordinate the Sales Training function to maximize sales effectiveness by assisting with identifying the training needs of the sales organization (e.g., new hire training, sales skill development, product knowledge, industry knowledge, tool/process training); contribute to the design and implementation of training programs and to the development of instructional material
Marketing Key Responsibilities
-Maintain tradeshow calendar, including projects, literature and marketing inventory
-Determine show needs such as staffing, unique on-site promotions, facilitation of on-site customer meetings, etc.
-Organize and manage trade show requirements and deadlines (ordering/payment for booth property, drayage, electric, shipping, etc.)
-Manage vendors (freight shipping, graphics agency, promotions agency and printer for collateral)
-Coordinate logistics for sales and marketing staff to include transportation, lodging, etc.
-Be the on-site lead to provide direction to booth staff and participating executives and customers
-On-site setup, booth duty during show hours and breakdown of all events
-Manage company trade show equipment inventory
-Publications/Non-Journal: submit and cooperate with editors of publications on building more brand awareness for the company and its products
-Integrate public relations activities into corporate marketing activities
-Lead overall media to support growth in the organization's products and business development efforts and integration with marketing objectives
-Build and manage relationships with key local and national media outlets and healthcare and technology trade publications
-Bachelor's Degree in related field
-A minimum of 3-5 years of work related experience in a B2B sales environment (medical devices a plus)
-Must be extremely well organized, detail-oriented, quality-minded and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Collaborating with multiple internal teams, including executives
-Knowledge and understanding of competitive dynamics in healthcare
