The role of the Sales Operations Analyst will be to ensure management?s ability to make sound, fact-based decisions. The primary responsibilities of the Sales Operations Analyst is to process Bullhorn sales contracts, facilitate sales commissions calculations, and help maintain data integrity of sales records for the accurate measurements of key metrics. The role entails supporting strategic and tactical initiatives within the sales department in order to maximize revenue opportunities.
Assist with all aspects of the contracts booking process for a global sales force.
Manage CRM data integrity and continued hygiene.
Develop best practices that align sales data quality with company initiatives.
Work with sales management to utilize data for territory planning and account targeting.
Provide analytic support to Manager of Sales Operations.
Assist Finance and Legal department in monthly/quarterly closing and reporting.
Work with Sales Managers to increase forecast accuracy and integrity of pipeline.
Liaison with internal departments to obtain answers to sales related questions and issues pertaining to quotas, commissions, contracts and metrics.
Maintain regional organization charts and territory maps.
Assist with ad hoc projects, data analysis and reporting as needed.
Develop and present recommendations for course corrections and alternatives.
Ensures compliance with company revenue recognition and bookings policies for booking and provisioning of orders.
Directs and coordinates the processing of sales orders from receipt to booking.
Manage updates to contract/agreement templates stored in CRM systems.
Provides ongoing support for training and sales enablement.
Qualifications, Training, and Experience:
Must have at least a Bachelor?s degree with at least 2 years of experience supporting sales, preferably in the software or SaaS (software as a service) industry.
Knowledge of sales organizations, quota models and sales compensation plans.
Strong Salesforce.com and MS Office skills (high level of proficiency in Excel and Power Point).
Sound understanding of sales, finance, and marketing operations processes.
Ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environment with confidence.
Clear understanding of sales pipeline/order management process.
Excellent interpersonal and diplomacy skills; ability to build strong professional relationships at all levels and cross functionally and effectively manage differences of opinions.
Experience in developing and delivering presentations and be willing to consistently educate co-workers on how to make themselves more productive with SFDC
Strong sense of urgency, including the ability to meet or exceed deadlines and set priorities.
Must be highly motivated and flexible in order to work effectively in a fast-paced global sales environment.
