The Sales Operations Analyst provides support functions essential to sales productivity and effectiveness. Reporting to the VP of Sales, the Sales Operations Analyst will provide accurate and timely reporting, analysis and forecasting. This is a project-driven position that will work across the VISANOW sales team, supporting Corporate Sales, Client Management and Customer Support.
Utilize Excel and Salesfore.com to synthesize data and provide relevant metric reports and sales forecasts
Collect, analyze, evaluate and report data in order to increase sales productivity and interpret sales results
Build and develop new metrics and KPIs, working with large data sets to produce relevant analyses and reports
Create sales potential index reports to ensure sales territories are aligned with departmental and organizational goals
Employ efficient data mining, querying and reporting to support the VP of Sales and the Executive team
Proactively identify opportunities for sales process improvement
Conduct market research to identify new lead sources and analyze the competitive landscape
2-5 years of sales analysis experience, providing results through analyzed and interpreted data
Highly skilled in MS Excel and Salesforce.com
Proven ability to prepare and present self-created sales analyses
Experience building a sales potential index for market territories
Experience with compensation plan design and improvement, based on sales analytics
Experience building sales dashboard at the executive and mid-level managerial level
Superior verbal and written communication skills
Previous sales experience is preferred
