Would you like to be at the center of a dynamic multi-national team and help drive the growth of software and services sales across the globe? As Sales Operations Associate, reporting to the EVP of Services & Solutions at iRise, you will implement and sometimes design sales processes for complex enterprise level licensing transactions, support a global sales force, maintain and develop complex forecasting models, and act as a link between sales and other departments at iRise. Assist the iRise sales teams with the preparation of pricing quotes and proposals.
Gather, verify and enter sales credit allocation information in Salesforce.com.
Collaborate with finance for accurate and timely compensation to the sales team.
Assist in the design and maintain tracking of compensation plans for the global sales force.
Assist the sales teams with entering complete sales data in Salesforce.com.
Enter opportunities in Salesforce.com not normally entered by sales teams.
Prepare forecast reports.
Produce reports to assist executive management in the identification and interpretation of trends.
Manage projects for the implementation or improvement of sales tools or processes.
Prepare presentations at the time of each quarterly business review.
Assist with tracking and accounting of department budget and headcount.
Review and approve timesheets and expense reports for the sales organization.
Bachelor?s degree (business or financial preferred) or equivalent work experience.
Three or more years of experience in a sales operations role in the software industry.
Strong understanding of software product pricing and licensing models as well as professional services and maintenance & support concepts.
Experience in the preparation of software sales quotes and proposals.
Proficiency in the use of Salesforce.com, including some experience in administrative tasks such as creating custom fields, views, page layouts and reports.
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, arrays, complex formulas).
Familiarity with incentive compensation concepts and documentation, such as sales quotas, calculation of commissions and bonuses, and compensation plans.
Strong understanding of the entire quote-to-cash process, particularly in the software industry.
Familiarity with accounting principles, particularly software revenue recognition.
Familiarity with business management principles such as headcount and budgets.
