If that sounds like your ideal work setting, we might have the perfect gig for you.This role will be responsible for the hands-on management of all Sales Operations functions and will help us maximize revenue growth through the development, implementation and ongoing maintenance of sales and service programs and initiatives. This position will report to the Chief Sales Officer and is based in Austin, Texas.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversees all sales operations activities to achieve company goals
Generate forecast and metric reports for sales management and executive team through analysis of sales and marketing data
Configure and maintain Salesforce.com to optimize collection and reporting of key sales metrics
Document and train sales team on key sales processes
Be an active part of and advise sale management team on key trends in data, opportunities for improvement in sales processes, and ways to improve flow of information throughout company
Responsible for financial modeling, budgeting and statistical studies for sales department
Must be able to identify and implement process improvements in sales cycle reporting
Maintains relationship with field sales to ensure timely, accurate and prompt forecast submissions
Collaborate with sales and finance departments to develop and administer the company's worldwide sales forecast and commission plans
Partner with leaders and stakeholders across the organization to optimize the business and manage change
Assist in selection and implementation of new software that would make sales team more productive
Prepare sales operations related presentations to the sales organization and the executive team
QUALIFICATIONS:
3+ years proven sales operations experience in software sales or services
1+ year experience as a Salesforce.com administrator
Results-oriented practitioner with solid business and technical skills
Advanced MS Excel skills
Ability to work in a fast paced environment with ever changing needs
SaaS technology experience preferred
Start up experience strongly preferred
Active user on various social networks
Bachelor Degree (or equivalent); Masters Degree an asset
